Owner of Boston’s Shiso Kitchen, the former Athlete and Le Cordon Bleu Chef Instructor also has specialty training as a Left-Handed-American-Female Sushi Chef. Her experience includes: TV Host, Business Owner, Chef, Caterer and Consultant, Food Columnist & Writer, in addition to traveling the globe in search of new flavors. She has a diverse culinary background with a palette & training inspired by world travels, and fresh ingredients. Jess's cooking style is one that is globally influenced, and revolves around sharing good food with good friends, and good fun.

She’s the host of ESPN’s Travel, Food, Sports & Adventure show 3 Day Weekend, and hosts Food Network's series Cooking Cheat Sheet, and can be seen as a 3 time competitor and champion of Cutthroat Kitchen, and has been the face of national and local commercial campaigns. Cooking may be her bread and butter, but Jess Roy is also a thrill seeking adventurer. She is a former sponsored competitive snowboarder who loves anything active, outdoors and adrenaline filled.
